This document is the SMS program privacy policy and carrier-facing Opt-In Policy Proof for Metamour Events text alerts. Fill every [BRACKET] field before you submit it to your messaging provider, The Campaign Registry, or a carrier review team.

[SHORT CODE or 10DLC LONG CODE, e.g. 12345 or (XXX) XXX-XXXX]

3. Double opt-in flow (recommended)

Keyword opt-in from a handset can be single opt-in. Double opt-in is still recommended because it creates a clean consent record.

Step A — Consumer texts the keyword

Consumer sends: JOIN

To: [NUMBER]

Step B — Request for final confirmation

Metamour Events: Reply YES to confirm you want recurring automated marketing texts from Metamour Events about shows, tickets, and community events. Msg frequency varies (typically 2–8/mo). Msg & data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel. Terms [URL] Privacy [URL]

Step C — Consumer confirms

Consumer sends: YES

Step D — Confirmation / welcome message

Metamour Events: You’re in. Welcome to Metamour Events Text Alerts — Music, Lifestyle, Community! You’ll get show drops, ticket windows, and event reminders. Msg frequency varies (typically 2–8 msgs/month). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel. Stay Positive & Love Your Life!

4. Single opt-in welcome (if you skip YES)

If your provider is configured for single opt-in after the keyword, send this immediately:

Metamour Events: Welcome to Metamour Events Text Alerts. You’ll receive recurring automated texts about live music, lifestyle events, and community nights. Msg frequency varies (typically 2–8 msgs/month). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel. Consent not required to purchase. Terms [URL] Privacy [URL]

5. HELP and STOP

HELP reply

Metamour Events Text Alerts. For help, email [hello@YOURDOMAIN.com] or call [SUPPORT PHONE]. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel. Privacy [URL]

STOP / opt-out reply

You are unsubscribed from Metamour Events Text Alerts and will receive no further marketing texts. Reply JOIN to resubscribe.

Honor these keywords immediately (case-insensitive, with or without extra words): STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, OPTOUT, OPT-OUT, OPT OUT. Also honor any reasonable plain-language revocation (FCC rule effective April 11, 2025). Process opt-outs promptly (best practice: real time; legal outer limit: 10 business days). You may send one confirmation within five minutes of an opt-out. Then stop.

6. Standard disclaimers (must appear on CTA + first texts)

•        Messages are recurring / automated marketing texts from Metamour Events.

•        Message frequency varies. Typical volume: 2–8 messages per month. Extra messages may go out around major shows or last-minute changes.

•        Message and data rates may apply.

•        Consent is not a condition of purchase or event entry.

•        Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.

•        Links to Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy.

•        Quiet hours: no marketing texts before 8:00 a.m. or after 9:00 p.m. in the recipient’s local time.

7. What we collect and how we use it

When you opt in we collect: mobile phone number, opt-in timestamp, keyword used, originating number/short code, carrier (if provided by the aggregator), and any HELP/STOP history.

We use that data only to send the program you joined, honor opt-outs, measure delivery, and meet TCPA / CTIA / 10DLC recordkeeping rules.

Mobile opt-in data is not sold and is not shared with third parties for their own marketing. Processors who send messages on our behalf (aggregator, 10DLC vendor, CRM) may handle the number solely to operate this program.

We do not use purchased lists. Consent is one-to-one for Metamour Events only — it does not cover partners or affiliates.

8. Privacy commitments

•        No sale of SMS consent or phone numbers.

•        No sharing of opt-in data with unaffiliated marketers.

•        Retention: keep proof of consent and opt-out logs for at least 4 years (TCPA statute of limitations) and longer if a state mini-TCPA requires it.

•        Requests to access or delete personal data: email [hello@YOURDOMAIN.com]. Opt-out of texts is always STOP — do not require an account login to cancel texts.

9. Content standards

Program content: event announcements, ticket on-sales, schedule drops, community nights, and related Metamour Events marketing. Adult lifestyle community context applies; age-gate the audience (18+/21+ as required by the venue). Do not send SHAFT content that violates carrier rules. Age-restricted campaigns must be disclosed at registration.

10. Opt-In Policy Proof (paste into TCR / vendor form)

Use the block below when a form asks for “Opt-In Policy Proof” and you selected Via Text.

METHOD: Via Text (keyword campaign)

KEYWORD: JOIN

Msg frequency varies (typically 2–8 msgs/month). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel. Consent is not a condition of purchase. CAMPAIGN COLLATERAL URL (public screenshot): [PASTE PUBLIC URL]

Host a screenshot of the poster, website widget, or social graphic that shows the full CTA (keyword + number + frequency + rates + HELP/STOP + terms/privacy links). Put the file on a public OneDrive, Google Drive, or website page with link sharing set to “anyone with the link can view.” Paste that URL in the field above. Do not use a login-walled folder.

11. Links you must publish

SMS Terms of Service: [https://YOURDOMAIN.com/sms-terms]

Privacy Policy (this document or a web version): [https://YOURDOMAIN.com/privacy]

Publish the same HELP/STOP/frequency/rates language on those pages. The privacy page must state that mobile opt-in information is not shared with third parties for their marketing.

12. Operator checklist before go-live

1.     Replace every [BRACKET] with live values.

2.     Register the 10DLC or short code brand + campaign with The Campaign Registry.

3.     Turn on STOP / HELP / YES / JOIN automations.

4.     Screenshot the live CTA and host it publicly; paste the URL into Opt-In Policy Proof.

5.     Test JOIN → YES → welcome, HELP, and STOP on a real handset.

6.     Keep logs: number, timestamp, keyword, confirmation reply, IP/source if web-assisted.

13. Disclaimer

This is a practical compliance template aligned with TCPA prior express written consent, CTIA Messaging Principles, and common 10DLC / short-code review fields as of 2026. It is not legal advice. Have counsel review before launch, especially if you operate in states with mini-TCPA statutes (e.g., Florida FTSA, Texas).
