These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Metamour Events websites, social channels, ticket purchases, event attendance, and SMS / email programs operated by [LEGAL BUSINESS NAME] d/b/a Metamour Events (“Metamour,” “we,” “us”).

By visiting our sites, buying a ticket, attending an event, or texting JOIN to our number, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

2. Eligibility

•        You must be at least 18 years old to use the website, join the text list, or buy tickets. Some venues and events are 21+ — we will say so on that event page.

•        Events are for consenting adults in or curious about ethically non-monogamous, swinger, bisexual, polyamorous, LGBTQ+, kink/BDSM, and other open-minded communities. Newcomers are welcome. No pressure to participate beyond showing up and being respectful.

•        You are responsible for providing accurate information (name, age, phone, email) when you register or opt in.

3. The website and content

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to view the site for personal, non-commercial use. Do not scrape, copy our brand assets, frame the site, or use our content to train models without written permission.

Event details (lineup, time, venue, theme) can change. We will update the page and, when you have opted in, may text or email material changes.

User comments, form submissions, and messages you send us must not be unlawful, harassing, or infringing. We may remove content and refuse service.

4. Tickets, payments, and refunds

•        Tickets are sold through [TICKETING PLATFORM — e.g. Eventbrite / Ticket Tailor / door]. Their checkout terms also apply.

•        Prices, fees, and taxes are shown at checkout. We do not add SMS consent as a condition of purchase.

•        Refunds: [STATE YOUR POLICY — e.g. “Tickets are non-refundable except if we cancel the event and do not reschedule within 90 days. We may offer a credit to a future Metamour night.”]

•        If an event is postponed, your ticket typically transfers to the new date unless we say otherwise.

•        Lost tickets, no-shows, and arriving after door policy cutoff are not refundable.

•        Chargebacks filed in bad faith may result in a ban from future events.

5. Door, IDs, and house rules

•        Valid government photo ID required at the door. Name on ID should match the ticket.

•        We and the venue may refuse entry or ask anyone to leave for intoxication, harassment, non-consent, illegal activity, or breaking house rules — without a refund.

•        Dress code and theme, if any, will be listed on the event page. Come as yourself; keep it event-appropriate for a mixed public/lifestyle room.

•        No illegal drugs. Alcohol only where the venue is licensed and only for guests of legal drinking age.

•        Weapons are prohibited except as required by applicable law.

•        Photography and phones: follow the night’s posted photo policy. Do not photograph or film other guests without clear consent. Staff and house photographers may capture crowd shots of the room and stage; if you do not want to be in marketing photos, tell the door or a host and we will reasonably accommodate.

6. Consent, conduct, and community

Metamour is a fun night out first — concert energy, community warmth, playful sensuality. Lifestyle energy is invited, never required.

•        Consent is mandatory. Ask. Hear the answer. No means no. Silence or intoxication is not consent.

•        Flirting is welcome. Pressure, following, cornering, or touching without a yes is not.

•        Respect pronouns, partners, metamours, and “no thank you.”

•        Do not out anyone. What you see at a Metamour night stays in the room.

•        Harassment, hate, stalking, or non-consensual sexual activity will get you removed and may be reported.

•        Report issues to a host, security, or MetamourEvents@outlook.com We take reports seriously.

Violation of this section is grounds for immediate removal and a ban.

7. SMS program terms (Metamour Events Text Alerts)

This section is the SMS Terms of Service for carrier and TCPA review.

Program

Program name: Metamour Events Text Alerts. Recurring automated marketing texts about live music, ticket windows, schedule drops, community nights, and related Metamour Events news.

How to opt in

Text JOIN to [SHORT CODE or 10DLC NUMBER]. Optional keywords: METAMOUR, EVENTS, ALERTS.

Confirmation

We may ask you to reply YES before the list is activated (double opt-in). After confirmation you will receive:

•        Message and data rates may apply. Check your carrier plan.

•        Reply HELP or text HELP to [NUMBER] for help. We will reply with support contacts.

•        Reply STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, or OPTOUT to cancel. You will get one confirmation and then no more marketing texts. We also honor any other reasonable opt-out request.

•        Consent is voluntary and is not required to buy tickets or attend.

•        Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

What we do with your number

We use your number to run this program, honor opt-outs, and keep legally required records. We do not sell mobile opt-in data and do not share it with unaffiliated parties for their marketing. Processors (SMS vendor, aggregator, CRM) handle the number only to send our messages. Consent is one-to-one for Metamour Events, not for partners. 8. Email and other marketing

If you join an email list, you can unsubscribe via the link in every email. Website forms that collect a mobile number for texts must use an unchecked checkbox and the SMS disclosures in Section 7.

9. Intellectual property

The Metamour Events name, wordmark, dripping heart-pineapple logo, taglines, show artwork, photos we own, and site copy are our property or used under license. You may not use them to promote unaffiliated events or merchandise without written consent.

Guest artists and photographers retain their rights except for the limited license they grant us to promote the night.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Events are live entertainment in third-party venues. Music is loud. Floors are dark. People dance. You attend at your own risk.

THE SERVICES AND EVENTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, METAMOUR DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, METAMOUR AND ITS HOSTS, ARTISTS, AND VENUE PARTNERS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICES OR AN EVENT WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE TICKET TO THAT EVENT (OR USD $100 IF YOU PAID NOTHING).

Some states do not allow certain limitations. In those states, our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed.

11. Assumption of risk and release

By attending, you understand there is risk of injury, property loss, and exposure to loud sound or low light. You release Metamour Events, venue owners, artists, and staff from claims arising from ordinary event risks, to the extent allowed by law. This release does not waive liability for our own gross negligence or willful misconduct where the law forbids that waiver.

12. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Metamour Events and its team against claims arising from your breach of these Terms, your conduct at an event, or your content, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

13. Privacy

How we collect and use personal data — including SMS opt-in data — is described in our Privacy Policy: https://www.metamourevents.com/privacy-policy. The SMS-specific privacy terms live in that policy and in Section 7 above.

14. Third-party services

Ticketing platforms, maps, social networks, payment processors, and SMS aggregators are third parties. Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of those tools. We are not responsible for their outages or decisions.

15. Suspension and bans

We may suspend website access, cancel a ticket, or ban a guest who violates these Terms, harms the community, or creates legal risk. SMS opt-out is always available via STOP even if we have banned event attendance.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Effective date” at the top will change. Continued use after an update is acceptance of the new Terms. Material SMS-program changes will be reflected in the opt-in / HELP copy as required by carriers.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue for disputes that are not required to go to small-claims court is the state or federal courts located in [COUNTY, STATE], except where consumer law requires otherwise.

19. Miscellaneous

If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These Terms plus the Privacy Policy and any event-specific door rules are the entire agreement for the services they cover. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in a sale of the brand. No waiver is implied by a delay in enforcement.
